Log book

Consisting of four separate books that must be kept on board the ship and on which are reported, chronologically, the inventory of existing objects, the incomes and expenses incurred, the route followed, the meteorological observations, the extraordinary events that occurred, the initiatives taken for the safety of the shipment, the detailed description of the goods loaded and unloaded, etc. It practically constitutes the daily report of every fact or circumstance that occurred on board.
