The Customs is a body responsible for the control of goods in import and export, required to collect customs duties, such as duty and VAT. All shipments of goods that originate or are directed to a country outside the European Union are subject to customs, therefore the customs office is responsible for the control of goods both in import and export operations. the export of goods, unlike the import, is not subject to the payment of customs duties.
