the carrier is the person in charge of the physical movement of the goods (art. 1678 of the civil code). The carrier is therefore an operator who, for an economic consideration, undertakes to transfer the goods that are delivered to him from one place to another and then return them to the person indicated in the established place. According to article 1687 of the civil code, the carrier is obliged to return the goods to the recipient “in the place, within the terms and in the manner indicated in the contract. The place of delivery is usually the address of the recipient. within which the transported goods are returned to the recipient and is then contractually decided by the parties.
