Until the new regulation entered into force, in 2010, the closest equivalent term was Delivered Ex Quay and was explicitly applied to sea and inland waterway transport, while the new term can be used for any mode of transport.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The place for delivery (\u201cterminal\u201d) should be specified as precisely as possible, and can be any place \u2013 a quay, container yard, warehouse or transport hub.<\/span>
\n<\/span>“Delivered at Terminal” means it is the seller\u2019s duty to unload the goods at the desired terminal at the named port. The seller fronts all risk involved in transporting the goods and unloading them at the port; the seller shall bear all transport costs to the terminal (including any costs for the crossing of any third countries), as well as the costs for obtaining export licences and documents from the country of origin and those for customs export operations.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
