This term, which is used mainly for sea and inland waterway transport, means that the seller is required to clear the goods for export, deliver them onboard the ship at the port of origin, and pay for the transportation of these goods to the port of destination; the seller shall also bear any costs for obtaining export licences and documents from the country of origin and those for customs export operations.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The buyer is responsible for the insurance costs, while the seller shall promptly provide all the information required for the risk policy. Once the goods reach the port of destination, all other costs shall be borne by the buyer, including customs fees in the country of destination.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The term is considered as complete with the named port of destination (for example, C.F.R. Ravenna).
